Dobogókõ is a climatic health resort, a winter-summer hiking and skiing centre, a place of pilgrimage, with one of the most beautiful panoramas in the country. Dobogókõ and its surroundings are probably the best connected area in Hungary and one of the most popular places for hiking. The National Blue Trail, the Mária-út and the Hungarian Pilgrim’s Way, among others, pass through it.
